"The Tripura Information Commission (TIC) has introduced online filing of Right to Information (RTI) complaints, official sources said today.
“People of the state can now file RTI complaints online,” the State Information Commissioner, Mr B.K. Chakraborty, said.
The National Informatics Centre (NIC) has developed a software for the Commission to get information online, he said.
The disposal rate of RTI in Tripura is 95 per cent, which is highest in the country, and more than 20,000 applications were submitted under the Act since the commission started operating in the state in 2006, he said. — PTI "
